Thank you for taking the time to read my comment. I have been an admirer of your work for some time now and was happy to see that we agree on certain aspects on the philosophy of art-making. I am referring to your choice to push certain shapes of a person’s face to really reflect that inner-character. To me, this is as valuable (or even more so) than simply painting an exact likeness of the subject – something my art tutor at university disagreed upon with me, which is fine. Each to their own.
However, since seeing a short video piece about your art-life on Adobe’s website, coupled with my appreciation of your work, I have been keen to get in touch with you.
I have been wondering if you would be willing to spare some time to answer some questions I have for you, or even may have for you from time to time in the future. As a fan of your work I would really enjoy an opportunity to pick your brain and get a deeper understanding of your philosophy on art.
